Account Information: When you create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address. This is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers.
Location Data: We request access to your device location solely to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location data is processed on-device and is never stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
App Usage Data: Reading progress, favourited hadiths, Azkaar counts and Tasbeeh counts are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device.
We do not collect, store or sell: audio recordings, financial information, precise location history, browsing history, any personal data on our servers, or data for advertising purposes.
Google Sign-In — for account creation. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Apple Sign-In — for account creation. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
AlAdhan API — to fetch prayer times. No personally identifiable information is sent.
GROQ API — to power Idrak AI. Only your question text is sent to process your request. No data is stored by us.
Hidaya declares a microphone permission as a requirement of certain third party libraries. Hidaya does not record, process, store or transmit any audio from your device at any time.
Hidaya is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
All data generated by your use of Hidaya is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information.
You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling Hidaya. You can revoke location permissions anytime through device settings. You can revoke Google or Apple Sign-In through your respective account settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Hidaya after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
